OUR boat
The Nacra 17 is the spectacular, high-tech pinnacle of Olympic sailing, redefining competitive racing since its 2016 debut as the premier mixed-gender, full-foiling catamaran. Engineered specifically for elite competition, this carbon-fiber "beast" uses advanced L-shaped foils to lift both hulls completely out of the water, hitting speeds of 25 to 30 knots. With its wave-piercing design and extreme physicality, it represents a demanding, sustainable, and truly equal sport where one male and one female athlete must work in perfect harmony to master the art of flight.
the olympics
The Los Angeles 2028 Olympic sailing program is set to be a high-speed spectacle held across two iconic Southern California locations, with the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro serving as the primary hub for the boat-led events. Scheduled for July 16–28, 2028, the competition will showcase ten distinct events, maintaining the same classes from the Paris 2024 Games to ensure continuity for the athletes.
